Falcons' Home Opener Canceled

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green's baseball home opener of 2002 at Warren Steller Field against IPFW has been canceled due to inclement weather. Wednesday's home game vs. the University of Findlay is also threatened to be canceled due to the several inches of snow that have fallen in Bowling Green over the past 24 hours.

The Falcons (6-10 overall) kick off their Mid-American Conference portion of the schedule this weekend at Eastern Michigan University (March 29-31). Friday's game is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Oestrike Field. Saturday's doubleheader begins at 2 p.m. and Easter Sunday's contest is slated for a 1 p.m. start.

BGSU's next home game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 2, against Detroit-Mercy at 2 p.m.
