Lindy's Picks BGSU To Win MAC West

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University football team has been picked as the preseason favorite to win the MAC West Division title by Lindy's Football Annual. BGSU, which returns 12 starters from last season, was picked ahead of Toledo, Ball State, Western Michigan, Northern Illinois, Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan.

The Falcons, coming off an 8-3 campaign, also had three players named to the preseason All-MAC first team. Senior wide receiver Robert Redd, senior center Jon Mazur and junior cornerback Janssen Patton were named first-team All-league selections. Senior guard Greg Kupke earned second-team accolades.
