Bowling Green, Ohio - Keith McLeod, who earned MAC MVP honors this past season for BGSU, will take his first step toward securing a spot on an NBA roster when he joins a summer-league team affiliated with the Portland Trailblazers.
The Blazers will be sending a team to participate in the 2002 Rocky Mountain Revue. The Revue returns to the campus of Salt Lake Community College with nine NBA teams participating July 19-27.
Joining host team Utah will be Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix, Cleveland, Portland, Toronto, Memphis and Denver. Games will be played at the Lifetime Activities Center on the campus of Salt Lake Community College.
The Rocky Mountain Revue is the longest continually-running NBA-sanctioned summer league. First started in 1984, the Revue has traditionally featured many of the NBA's rising young stars and high draft picks as rookies and veteran free agents.
Four games will be televised by ESPN this year, including the July 19 game with Portland vs. Utah.
