BGSU Names Dennis Williams Volunteer Assistant Hockey Coach

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University hockey coach Scott Paluch announced today that former Falcon Dennis Williams will serve as volunteer assistant coach.
"We're very excited about Dennis joining the staff," said Paluch. "He brings an understanding of the Falcon program and a tremendous work ethic to the coaching staff."
Williams, a native of Stratford, Ontario, played in 117 games at BGSU from 1997-2001. The right-winger had 12-8--20 in his four years and helped the Falcons to the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Semifinals his senior season. Williams was a recipient of the Howard Brown Coach's Award his senior year while earning All-CCHA Academic Honorable Mention his last three seasons with the Falcons. He was a Canadian Rhode Scholarship nominee in 2000-2001.
He played one season of professional hockey in the Central Hockey League with the Odessa Jackalops, appearing in five games.
Williams earned his bachelor's of science degree in sport management in the summer of 2001, graduating cum laude. He is currently enrolled in graduate school at BGSU.
