BGSU Holds Intrasquad Scrimmage

The Bowling Green women's swimming and diving team held its annual Brown/Orange intrasquad meet on Friday, Oct. 3, at the Samuel Cooper Natatorium. Youth was the theme of the day for coach Keri Buff and her Falcons.

Sophomore Kara Ohngren captured the 100 breaststroke in 1:08.83 and the 200 IM in 2:15.00, while classmate Dana Schultz won the 100 butterfly with a time of 59.51. Freshmen Brittany O'Connor and Caroline Keating made their presence known by winning the 100 backstroke (1:01.64) and 100 free (54.79), respectively. Keating also finished runner-up to Schultz in the 100 butterfly (1:00.65).

BGSU begins its regular season with the 2nd Annual Biathalon on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Cooper Pool, followed by the Tom Stubbs Relay on Friday, Oct. 17.
