BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team, after several weeks of preseason practice, finally gets to play against another team ... the Falcons will open head coach Curt Miller's third campaign with an exhibition game against the Premier All-Stars tonight (Nov. 3) ... the Premier All-Stars come to Anderson for the eighth consecutive season (counting two years, 1996-97 and 1997-98, as the Ohio All-Stars), and rallied for an 87-83 victory over the Falcons in last year's lone exhibition contest for the Brown and Orange.
Admission to the exhibition game, which begins at 7:00 p.m., is free.
Following tonight's game, the Brown and Orange will have nearly three weeks to prepare for the regular season ... BGSU will open with a contest at Youngstown State on Saturday, Nov. 22, before hosting Detroit in the home opener three days later (Nov. 25) ... that contest vs. UDM is part of a doubleheader with the Falcon men's team.
