Bowling Green State University football coach Gregg Brandon has announced the signing of 23 student-athletes to national letter-of-intent to attend BGSU and play football for the Falcons.
"The national signing day is like game day," said Brandon. "This class is full of winners and our fans should be extremely excited. Our coaches and the university community have done and will continue to do an outstanding job in attracting the brightest and the best to BGSU."

Carson will graduate this spring from John Carroll High School in Ft. Pierce, Florida... An All-State, All-Area and All-District performer who recorded more than 1000 yards rushing, passing and in kick returns... led team to district title and a 14-1 record in 2002... as a junior he earned All-State and was the St. Lucie MVP... named All-Area as a freshman and as a sophomore... a two-time team captain... coached by Lenny Jankowski... also was a standout performer in track and baseball for the Rams.. was All-State in baseball... an honor roll student. Cole will graduate this May from Briarcrest High School in Memphis, Tennessee... was an All-State, All-League and All-Metro after rushing for 1,032 yards and eight TDs for the Saints in 2002 ...team captain... helped them to an 11-2 record and the Tennessee Division II AA Championship... rushed for 780 yards and five TDs as a junior... team finished second in the state and won a regional title... coached by Hugh Freeze... also lettered in track where he was on a 4 X 100 relay team which finished fourth in the state. Hutcherson will graduate in June from Vandergrift High School in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania... a two-time third-team All-State, and first-team All-District and All-A-K Valley selection... set his school's career receiving record... had 35 catches for 540 yards and 10 TDs as a senior and 36 receptions for 740 yards and 11 TDs as a junior... played for Coach Dave Grimm... also lettered in track and basketball for the Cavaliers... was an All-Section performer in hoops who has scored more than 1,000 career points and also was a state qualifier in the 400 meters... named business student of the month in April 2002 by the Vandergrift Lions Club. Kennedy will graduate this spring from Morris High School in Morris, Illinois... a two-year starter at quarterback who earned All-State and league MVP honors as a senior... two-time team MVP... completed 61% of his passes for 1,800 yards and 16 TDs in 2002... also rushed for 650 yards and 13 TDs... runs a 4.4 40-yard dash... threw for more than 1,000 yards and five TDs in 2001 and completed 58% of his passes... rushed for 630 yards and 16 TDs... team was 24-2 and won two league titles during Kennedy's tenure as a starting quarterback... team finished second in the state as a junior... played for Coach Dan Darlington... team captain... also lettered in track and basketball and competed at the state track championships twice. Lichtensteiger will graduate in June from Crestview High School in Van Wert, Ohio... named first-team All-Northwest Conference offensive and defensive lineman, and conference Lineman of the Year, both his junior and senior seasons... was also first-team All-Ohio both seasons while earning district Lineman of the Year his senior campaign... had 125 tackles and eight sacks his senior year, while recording 100 tackles and six sacks his junior year... coached by Chad Williams... also lettered in basketball and track... four-year scholar-athlete in football and basketball. Massey will graduate in June from Amherst Steele High School... an honorable mention All-State performer who also was named to the Cleveland Plain Dealer and Lorain Journal All-Star teams... a first-team All-Southwest Conference, All-District and All-County pick as a senior... named the team's outstanding offensive lineman... earned three letters and helped the team to a conference crown in 2000... earned the "Hustler" Award as a junior... coached by Jeff Riesen... also lettered in track for the Comets where he competes in the shot put. Newble will join BGSU after playing two years at Fort Scott (Kansas) Community College... earned All-Jayhawk Conference honors for the Greyhounds... a 2001 graduate of Haywood High School in Brownsville, Tennessee... earned four letters and twice was a team captain for the Tomcats... earned All-West Tennessee honors as a senior and All-League honors as a junior... helped the squad to two Sectional titles... coached by Phil Massey... also lettered in track and basketball. Norris will graduate in June from Martin Luther King High School... a PSL firt-team all-Detroit... an All-State honorable mention... was a bluechip top 30 selection... was named a top 25 quarterback on www.varsityonline.com... earned two letters and was also named captain and team MVP in 2001 and 2002... threw for 1,500 yards and 14 TDs as well as ran for 400 yards with eight rushing TD's as a senior... helped squad to PSL championshipin 2002 and division championship in 2001... played for coach Jim Reynolds... also lettered in basketball in 1999 and 2000. Nystrom will graduate in June from Prairie Ridge High School... an honorable mention Chicago Tribune All-State pick... named to the Northwest Herald first team... first team All-Conference... earned four letters while leading his team to several second-place finishes in the Fox Valley Conference... played for coach Chris Schremp... earned two letters in track while becoming a state qualifier in the shot put in 2001 with a mark of 53'4.5"... also lettered in wrestling for one year... two-time academic All-State member. O'Drobinak will graduate this spring from Crown Point High School... was named Associated Press honorable mention... Herald Times named him one of the top 33 players in the state of Indiana... named All-State top 50 player... Post Tribune first-team All-Area... named team captain in 2002 helping to lead team to second place finish in DALC... earned three letters while playing for coach Chip Petit. Parks graduated from Libertyville High School in January and is now enrolled at BGSU... named to Illinois top 30 list by Midwest Recruiting...
