BGSU Women's Golf Finishes 15th at Snowbird Intercollegiate

Tampa, Fla. - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team opened up its 2003 spring season with a 15th-place finish at the 17th annual Snowbird Intercollegiate golf tournament, hosted by Northern Illinois in Tampa, Fla.
The Falcons carded a team score of 680 (346, 334) in the two-day, 36-hole tournament. James Madison University won the 21-team event with a score of 591.
Senior Shelley Binzel was the top finisher for the Falcons, carding a 160 (80, 80) to place tied for 34th place. Junior Jenny Schnipke was tied for 58th place with a score of 165 (86, 79). Other Falcon competitors were Emily Hassen (175), Stephanie Elsea (180), and Amanda Schroeder (190).
BGSU next competes March 29-30 at the William & Mary Invitational in Williamsburg, Va.
