Bowling Green, Ohio - A November Tuesday night national television appearance against rival Miami and a trip to Columbus to take on defending national champion Ohio State are among two of 12 contests set for the 2003 Bowling Green State University football team.
2003 BGSU Football Schedule
August 28 EASTERN KENTUCKY (University Night) 7 p.m. EKU leads series 3-0, posting wins in 1940, 49 and 50.
September 6 at Purdue TBA Falcons won only other meeting in West Lafayette in 1972.
September 13 LIBERTY (Varsity BG/Hall of Fame Night 6 p.m. First-ever meeting.
September 20 at Ohio State TBA Third meeting between the two schools since 1992.
October 4 *CENTRAL MICHIGAN (Homecoming) 4 p.m. First trip to BG for the Chippewas since 1999; BG leads series 19-16.
October 11 at Western Michigan 2 p.m. Falcons look for first win in Kalamazoo since 1991; BG leads series 29-14-3.
October 18 * at Eastern Michigan TBA First trip to Ypsilanti since 1994; BG leads series 19-10-1.
October 25 *Northern Illinois (Family Weekend) 4 p.m. First trip to BG for the Huskies since 1997; BG leads series 9-4.
November 4 *at Miami (ESPN/ESPN2) TBA (Tuesday) Rivalry renewed after one-year hiatus; MU leads series 36-18-5.
November 15 *KENT STATE (NCAA Youth Night) 6 p.m. Falcons have won last three meetings; BG leads series 50-15-6.
November 22 *at Ball State TBA First trip to Muncie since 1995; BG leads series 16-8-1.
November 28 *TOLEDO (SENIOR NIGHT) TBA (Friday) Home team has won last five games; BG leads series 35-28-4.
December 4 MAC Championship (ESPN/ESPN2) TBA (Thursday) Game will be played on home field of West champ.
