Taylor Twite Earns MAC West Player Of The Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Bowling Green State University volleyball player Taylor Twite is this week's MAC West Division Player of the Week after guiding the Falcons to a pair of league wins and a 2-1 mark on the week. The award is the first of Twite's career.
In two conference contests, the senior middle hitter averaged 5.12 kills, 5.69 points, 1.12 blocks and 0.62 digs per game while hitting .465. Twite matched her career high with 22 kills and hit .528 against Northern Illinois, after dropping in 19 kills versus Toledo. Overall on the week, Twite averaged 4.58 kills, 5.08 points, 0.92 blocks and 0.50 digs per game.
The Lapeer, Michigan native joins fellow teammates Emily Manser and Melissa Mohr as Falcons to receive the award this season.
Twite and the Falcons get back to the court on Thursday, October 14, when they welcome Central Michigan to Anderson Arena at 7:00 p.m.
