Falcons Finish 7th at Marshall Invitational

Final Results Bowling Green finished seventh at the inaugural Lady Herd Fall Invitational at Guyan Golf and Country Club in Huntington, W.V., hosted by Marshall University. The tournament was reduced to 36 holes due to rain on Monday.
The Falcons ended with a team score of 655 (330-325) while Ohio won the seven-team event with a score of 604 (311-293).
Freshman Amanda Bader was the top Falcon finisher, placing 22nd with a score of 160 (80-80). Fellow freshman Carley Hrusovsky was tied for 31st place with a score of 164 (81-83), while sophomore Kari Liggett (87-79) and freshman Jessica McCann (82-84) were tied for 35th place with a score of 166. Junior Amanda Schroeder finished 42nd with a score of 170 (87-83). Freshman Lindsey Jonkhoff, competing as an individual, finished 46th with a two-round score of 187 (94-93).
The tournament concluded the Fall portion of BGSU's 2004-05 schedule. The Falcons return to action this spring when they participate in the East/West Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde, Arizona (March 4-5, 2005).
