Falcons Enter Top 25 in Coaches Poll

Bowling Green, Ohio - For the third straight year, the BGSU football team is ranked in a major weekly football poll. Riding a seven-game winning streak, BGSU is rated 24th in this week's USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll.
BGSU is a MAC-best 8-2 overall and tied for first place in the league's West Division with a 6-1 mark. The Falcons will battle Toledo, 7-3 and 6-1, in the season finale, November 23 at Toledo's Glass Bowl on ESPN2 at 7 p.m.
In 2003, BGSU finished ranked 23rd in both major weekly polls and also was rated as high as 15th by the Associated Press after spending eight weeks in the polls. In 2002, the Falcons climbed as high as 16th in the coaches poll and was ranked for five weeks. In 1985, BGSU spent one week ranked 20th in the AP poll.
With the Falcons' 56-35 win over Marshall on Saturday, BGSU has now posted eight wins or more in four straight seasons for the first time in school history.
