Jacobs Leads Nation In TD Passes and Points Responsible For

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University sophomore quarterback Omar Jacobs continues to lead the nation with 32 TD passes and 21.6 points responsible for per game. He also is second in the nation in total offense (348.0) and passing yards per game (322.0). He also is third in the country in pass efficiency (172.4) and fifth in completions per game at 24.7.
Junior running back P.J. Pope and senior kicker Shaun Suisham are tied for 14th in the nation in scoring averaging nine points per game. Senior Keon Newson is 20th in the country in interceptions with four, junior Charles Sharon is 21st in receiving yards per game (86.0), junior Steve Sanders is 26th (81.1), and senior Cole Magner is 25th in receptions (5.9).
As a team, the Falcons are second in the nation in passing offense (327.7), fourth in total offense (496.4) and scoring (43.9), fifth in turnover margin (+1.3) and pass efficiency (170.1), 20th in pass efficiency defense (107.8), and 23rd in scoring defense (19.8). BGSU leads the MAC in all of those team rankings.
