Falcons Pick Up Seventh "W" Before December
BGSU picked up its seventh victory before the month of December for the first time since 1996 when the Falcons were 7-7-1 on Nov. 30. This year's team is now 7-3-2. In the past five years, BGSU hasn't recorded win No. 7 until the middle of January. (2003-04-Jan. 23; 2002-03-Jan. 31; 2001-02-Jan. 25; 2000-01-Jan. 19; 1999-2000-Jan. 14).
More Falcons Getting Into the Scoring
JR Bryan Dobek's assist on the game-winning goal on Nov. 27 made 22 of the 23 non-goalie Falcons that have tallied either a goal or assist. In addition, SR goalie Jordan Sigalet got into the mix, contributing an assist on the GTG on Nov. 26 to make it 23 Falcons overall that have earned an assist or goal.
Less Shots Don't Matter for BGSU
BGSU improved to 5-2-2 when being outshot this season while picking up its first win of the year when its opponent scores first (1-3-2). The 20 shots recorded by the Falcons on Nov. 27 were a season-low and marked the ninth time in 12 games that BGSU has had 30 or less shots this year.
