Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green sophomore Nolan Reimold was named the Mid-American Conference's West Division Player of the Week for March 1. It is the first time that the Greenville, Pa., native has been named MAC Player of the Week.
The right-fielder hit .545 (6-for-11) in a three-game series at Dayton, driving in seven runs and helping the Falcons take two of three games. The 6-foot-4, 205-pounder hit two home runs -- one more than all of last year -- and recorded two doubles and scored three times. Reimold had a pair of multi-hit and multi-RBI games. After going 1-for-3 in the opener, Reimold went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs, then was 3-for-4 with two runs, a double and a home run.
