Final Day At Sea Ray Relays Complete

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Bowling Green State University outdoor track and field team completed the final day of the 38th annual Sea Ray Relays Saturday night. The event is was hosted by the University of Tennessee. Despite no team scores being kept, several Falcons had impressive showings throughout the four day competition.
For the Falcons, senior Amber Culp established a regional qualifying time of 10:45.48 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, finishing third in the event.
Newcomer Erica Wilson placed eighth in the high jump with a personal-best mark of 5-06.
Senior Kerri McClung placed tenth in the shot put with a distance of 46-11.75 and 12th in the hammer throw with a mark of 144-03.
Elise Gould edged out teammate Bridget Dalic for 12th place in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:32.42. Dalic finished 13th with a time of 18:50.45.
The 4x100 meter relay squad established the fifth fastest time in school history with a 46.80. They placed 12th in the event.
BGSU returns to action on April 16, when they travel to Columbus, Ohio, to compete in the All-Ohio Championships.
