BGSU Hosts Annual Falcon Invitational

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team will host its annual Falcon Invitational this weekend, Sept. 18-19, at Forrest Creason Golf Course on the campus of BGSU. The eight-team tournament will be the only home event for the Falcons this season.
One round of 18 holes will be played on Saturday, Sept. 18, beginning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m., and another round of 18 holes will be played on Sunday, Sept. 19, also with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Forrest Creason Golf Course is 5,957 yards long and is a par 72.
Team competing besides the host Falcons include Cleveland State, Dayton, Findlay, Longwood, Oakland, Western Ontario, and Youngstown State.
BGSU finished 11th at last weekend's Cardinal Classic hosted by Ball State University. Three Falcon freshmen led the way at the tournament, including Amanda Bader (T-35th, 159), Carly Hrusovsky (T-54th, 166) and Jessica McCann (T-54th, 166). Junior Amanda Schroeder also finished tied for 54th.
