Norman, Okla. -
BGSU Coach Gregg Brandon
On the game:
"That was a long game. We had our chances but we had some problems in the second half. They have an explosive offense."
On the OU defense:
"That pass rush was relentless. They're a great defense."
On the crowd noise:
"It was hard to hear today. We had some communication problems with the crowd noise being so loud. Omar missed some passes and some reads."
On OU's running game:
"Their running backs were hard to tackle. No. 20 (Kejuan Jones) and No. 28 (Adrian Peterson) were hard to tackle. We had to swarm to tackle those guys. It's tough to sustain that intensity for four quarters. I think that's what got us - them running the ball pretty effectively.
On Omar Jacobs' first game:
"I think Omar (Jacobs) rose to the occasion playing against a great defense in the national spotlight."
Sophomore quarterback Omar Jacobs
On the OU defense:
"They're a great team with a great defensive line. No. 80 (Cody) is a monster. I would be ready to throw and then see a big paw knock the ball away."
Senior defensive back Keon Newson
On playing against Jason White:
"I consider it a great honor to be on the same field as the Heisman Trophy winner. I told (White) after the game that I considered it a privilege to play against him."
OU defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek
On Bowling Green:
"We knew they were going to be a good team coming in. That's what you want -- for them to test us in the end and see what we're made of. They made us dig down deep. It's always better to play a good game than come in and have a blowout."
