Ypsilanti, Michigan - With this being the only meeting between the two teams, BGSU will win any tiebreaker should both squads finish with the same conference record at the end of the season.
BGSU now leads the series 43-35 and has won three of the last five games in Ypsilanti.
BGSU is 4-0 in the MAC for just the second time since the 1967-68 season when the Falcons started 5-0 under Coach Bill Fitch. BGSU also was 4-0 in the MAC in 2002-03.
BGSU and Western Michigan are the only teams to have won at least two road games in the league this season thus far. Both are 2-0. The rest of the league is 3-22 away from home in the MAC.
Dan Dakich is now the 15th coach in MAC history to win 75 league games. He is 75-55 (57.7%) in the MAC.
BGSU shot 53.2% from the floor (52.9% in the first half and 53.6% in the second half) and is shooting a MAC best 51.8% from the field (8th in the nation). BGSU also shot over 50 percent at Detroit and Youngstown State.

After posting a season-low 12 turnovers on Sunday against Northern Illinois, BGSU had just 13 miscues on Wednesday night against Eastern.
BGSU made nine of 23 from three-point range giving them nine or more three-point field goals in three of the last four games.
Eastern Michigan cut the lead to 57-45 with 9:49 left in the game, but could get no closer.
The Falcons' biggest lead came with 4:53 remaining at 74-51.
BGSU made a season-low four free throws and matched their lowest attempt total from the charity stripe this season (7 vs. DePaul).
Senior John Reimold continues to tear up the MAC. He scored a team-high 24 points, 14 in the second half, and had five rebounds. He made five of nine three-pointers, including four of five in the second half. For the season, he is averaging 20.5 points on 63.)% shooting from the field and 60.7% marksmenship with the three-ball in four MAC games. He also entered the week ranked seventh in the country in three-point field goal percentage and has now made 52.1% of his three-pointers this season.
Senior Josh Almanson had 15 points and made all seven of his field goal attempts, the second time he has done that in his career (vs. Urbana in 2003). Almanson leads the MAC in scoring (18.8) and field goal percentage (63.8%).
Junior Steven Wright had 13 points, five rebounds and two steals. He made six of 11 field goal attempts.
Junior Mawel Soler provided the spark off the bench with a career-high 12 points and seven rebounds. He made five of six field goal attempts and is shooting 85.7% from the field (18 of 21). In the last two games, he is averaging 11 points and seven rebounds.
Junior John Floyd had five-points and a career-high 12 assists. That is the most assists dished by a Falcon since Brandon Pardon had 14 against Northern Illinois at home in 2002.
Senior Cory Eyink had three points, four rebounds and two assists.
Freshman Scott Vandermeer had four key first half points. His basket at the end of the first half gave BGSU a 15-point lead at intermission.
Sophomore Matt Lefeld had three points.
BGSU and Western Michigan are the only teams in the MAC with 4-0 records. They will play Saturday at 2 p.m. at Anderson Arena.
