Sorority Night Scheduled for Friday Night at Hockey Game

This Friday evening, the BGSU Falcon Hockey team will face off against theFighting Irish of Notre Dame, at 7:05 p.m.in the BGSUIce Arena. Not only is this an important game in CCHA play, but there isalso the opportunity for BGSU's sororities to win some great prizes, beating each other and fraternities. EachSorority's members will be able to sign in at a designated area within the Ice Arena lobby, with the top three sororities with the most members in attendance winning prizes. All sororities in attendance will receive PA recognition--and don't forget, you have the chance at showingwho has more school and Greek spirit, the Fraternities or the Sororities.
Friday, January 28th, is also Rob Blake bobblehead night, with the opportunity to meet Rob Blake and Nelson Emerson, both alumni of Bowling Green's Hockey program and successful NHL stars, and Blake is a 2002 Gold Medal Olympian. Also, for those of you who aren't familiar with the game, there will be a session of Hockey 101 prior to the game, beginning at 5:30 in the Ice Arena Lounge, with some of BG's own hockey players explaining the rules of the game, traditions and all that equipment they wear, sponsored by Club Canada.
