BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University hockey team skated to a 0-0 tie through one period Thursday night inside the Ice Arena. In between periods a line was hit while drilling a hole for the nets. As coolant continued to come up through the ice the game had to be called for safety reasons. At this time the game has yet to be rescheduled.
The Falcons and Bulldogs ended the first period tied 0-0, with both teams firing nine shots. Senior Jon Horrell made his second straight start, shutting down FSU. He has stopped 50 of the last 52 shots he has faced.
When a time and date are determined the game will resume, starting in the second period, with Ferris State having 1:47 left on their power play.
