Coach Dan Dakich
"I thought our defense in this game was the difference. I didn't know that we had great offense, although we shot 52 percent. In Urbana's defense, they were playing shorthanded. They were down two kids that were starters, a couple of other kids I think they thought were going to get eligible. And we're down a couple of guys, so it was kind of a game of attrition here today. But, I thought our kids competed and did what they needed to do. It didn't need to be a nip and tuck. It just needed to be a game where we came out, played the way that we're capable and take it from there and that is what I thought happened."
"We put it in the other day (2-3 zone) and it worked out really well. I wanted to use it in this game but I wanted to use it when we had guys with fouls."
on Matt Lefeld's condition...
"It is a bone bruise right now... His x-rays will be read by a radiologist on Monday and we're hoping and praying that there isn't any type of fracture in there. ...But right now, it is a bone bruise."
"Steven is out of his boot and Dusan is out of his boot. They're not going to practice but they're doing their rehab stuff with our trainer."
Martin Samarco
"Coach (Dakich) preaches and teaches us to play hard and defense and then the offense will come easy. Today, we just came out with the mentality that we're not going to get split and we're not going to let anybody score on us and we tried to do it for 40 minutes and play hard."
