Falcons Fall in Non-Conference Swim

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University swimming and diving program fell to in-state Big 10 rival Ohio State University, 171- 124. Of the 16 events in the meet, BGSU took three first place and 12 runner-up finishes.
Freshman Alisha Yee recorded two more individual top finishes in the 200 Backstroke and Individual Medley. The veteran 400 Free Relay team comprised of Caroline Keating, Jessica Guinness, Stephanie Buckner and Dana Schultz also finished first with a 3:40.84 mark.
In diving competition, sophomore captain Jill Auer recorded a second place finish with a 233.77 score on the 3-meter board in six dives.
The Falcons will have one day to rest before taking on Mid-American Conference opponent Ohio University. The Saturday meet with the Bobcats will begin at 1:00 p.m.
