BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Falcons take a break from MAC play, to compete against non-conference foe Oakland University Tuesday night at 7 PM in Anderson Arena.
A Look at the Grizzlies
Oakland (5-24) is led by senior Heather Lippert's 3.05 kills/game and 1.25 blocks/game. Lauren Duquette paces the Grizzlies defensively with 4.60 digs per game. Oakland looks to snap their current three-match losing streak tonight.
Swiger Earns MAC Honors
Sophomore Stephanie Swiger led the Falcons to a 1-1 record in two MAC road matches. In the pivotal win at Miami on Nov. 3, Swiger hammered 15 kills and compiled a .433 hitting percentage. Swiger also contributed defensively in the victory, recording four blocks. The Findlay, Ohio native also assisted on four Falcon points. In the loss at Western Michigan on Nov. 5, Swiger continued her impressive week, hitting .391 with 12 kills. Defensively, she racked up seven blocks in the outing. For the week, Swiger averaged 1.38 blocks per game and 3.38 kills per contest while hitting a lofty .415.
