The Falcons lost for the first time in four games against the Trojans.

The Trojans never trailed in the game. UALR led by as many as 12 in the first half, but the Falcons cut the lead to 24-19 with 2:45 left in the first half.

Senior Mawel Soler had six points and made his first three-pointer of the season.
Sophomore Perrick Robinson added four points.

The Trojans shot 46 free throws to the Falcons 16 free throw attempts.
The game was officiated by a MAC crew.
This was just the sixth game ever played in the Stephens Center, a brand new 5,600 seat arena on the UALR campus.
Junior Martin Samarco did not dress for disciplinary reasons. He will return to the lineup against Florida State next week..
The Trojans dressed 31 cheerleaders ranging in ages 18 to 37.
