Falcons 12th At MAC Championships After Day One

MOUNT PLEASANT, Michigan - The Bowling Green State University track and field team had several Falcons qualify for the finals after the completion of day one at the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Even with the Brown and Orange sitting in 12th place, the majority of points are available on day two.
With most Falcons yet to compete, three BGSU track and field members qualified for day two events. Sophmore Jessica White finished fourth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.71. Senior Melissa Krueger had an impressive time of 2:14.29 in the 800-meters and Sophomore Nicole Standback qualified for the finals in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.65.
The Falcons will return to action tomorrow morning at 11:00 a.m. for the final day of the championships.
