Sprinting South: Falcons Set for Louisville Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bowling Green's sprints, jumps and multis groups are headed south to Louisville on Thursday for the Clark Wood/Jim Freeman Invitational. The meet will run from April 23-25 at Owsley B. Frazier Cardinal Park.
The heptathlon will open things up for BGSU on Thursday at 12:10 p.m. and 12 Falcons will compete over three days.
Bowling Green is just one week removed from their outing at the Virginia Challenge. There Kiera Bonds made headlines, climbing to second all-time for the Falcons in the long jump at 6.10m. That stands as the top mark in the MAC this season heading into this weekend. Accompanying Bonds' performance, five athletes competed in the 400-meter hurdles and all set personal records.
