Swimmers In Fifth After Day Two

ATHENS, Ohio - Bowling Green stands still in fifth place after day two of the MAC Championships with 281.50 points. The Falcons are 6.5 points away from fourth place Eastern Michigan. Events for day two included the 200 medley relay, 400 IM, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke, and 800 freestyle relay.
Dana Schultz came up strong for the Falcons with a third place finish in the 100 butterfly and a time of 56.99. Erin Dilkes was the top qualifier in the 100 breaststroke during preliminaries and came up with a third place finish in the finals with a time of 1:05.06.
Caroline Keating who broke a school record in the 500 freestyle on Thursday came out with a fifth place finish in the 200 freestyle and a time of 1:52.27.
Events for day three of the MAC Championships begin at 11:00 a.m. with preliminaries and finals to begin at 7:00 p.m.
