Seniors Honored At Men's Basketball Banquet

Bowling Green, Ohio - Senior All-MAC performers Josh Almanson and John Reimold shared the Antonio Daniels MVP Award at the 2004-05 Men's Basketball Awards banquet held this evening. Fellow senior Cory Eyink also received the Captain's Award along with Almanson and Reimold and shared the Earl Rupright Spirit Award with junior Mawel Soler.
Almanson was named first-team All-MAC and second-team NABC All District after averaging 17.2 points. He also led the MAC in field goal percentage (59.2) and finished his career with 1,136 career points.
Reimold was named second-team All-MAC and was a Mid-Major All-American after leading the MAC in scoring at 18.5 points per game. He also finished as the career leader in three-point field goals at BGSU with 228 and scored 1,380 points.
Eyink, who played in 112 games in his career, was the team's top scorer off the bench averaging 4.2 points. He also made key contributions on offense and defense late in several close victories. He scored 475 points in his career.
Soler, a transfer from Coffeyville Community College, averaged 4.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and shot 73.7% from the field in his first year with the Falcons.
