BGSU's Jordan Sigalet Named All-CCHA Second Team

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green goalie Jordan Sigalet (Surrey, British Columbia) was named today All-Central Collegiate Hockey Association Second Team, as voted on by the 12 league coaches. Sigalet was named All-CCHA First Team in 2004.
Sigalet led all CCHA goalies with 30.40 saves per game, while finishing tied for third with a .920 save percentage and sixth with a 2.71 goals-against-average. He played in 1,749:23 minutes for the Falcons, finishing with a 16-10-3 record during the regular season. The senior goalie is fifth in the nation with 912 saves, 17th nationally with his .920 save pct., and 36th nationally with his 2.71 gaa. He was named CCHA Goalie of the Week twice this season.

The 6-foot, 172-pound senior is the first Falcon goalie to be named a captain and finished No. 1 in the preliminary fan voting for the Hobey Baker Award, which ended March 6. The 10 semifinalists will be announced on Thursday, March 17.
