Falcons Ends Regular Season at Lady Buckeye Intercollegiate

Columbus, Ohio - The Bowling Green women's golf team concluded its regular season by finishing 15th at the 25th annual Lady Buckeye Intercollegiate, hosted by Ohio State University at the par 73 OSU Scarlet Course (6,201 yards) in Columbus. The Falcons finished with a team score of 989 (338-328-323) while Michigan State captured the 15-team tournament with a team score of 886.
BGSU freshman Jessica McCann led all Falcons by finishing T-46th with a 54-hole score of 241 (82-81-78). Fellow frosh Carley Hrusovsky finished T-74th with a score of 251 (84-81-86), followed by junior Amanda Schroeder (T-78th, 252), freshman Amanda Bader (T-80th, 253), sophomore Kari Liggett (85th, 256), and senior Karen Binzel (87th, 258).
The Falcons now prepare for the Mid-American Conference Championships, which will take place this weekend, April 22-24, in Indian Springs, Ohio. This year's tournament will be held at Walden Ponds Golf Club and Ball State will be the official host. This marks the sixth year in a row that Walden Ponds has been the host site of the tournament. BGSU finished eighth last season at the MAC Championships.
