DES MOINES, Iowa - The Bowling Green State University track and field team completed day day two of the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa. Though no team scores were kept, several Falcons still had impressive performances.
Leading the way, was sophomore Andrean Bunko, who posted a career-best 142-07 in the javelin, finishing 11th in the meet.
Senior Kerri McClung placed seventh in the shot put with a toss of 50-01.75.
Nikki Suitor continued her solid Drake Relays as she finished strong in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:21.99. The day prior she was part of the school record breaking day in the 4x1600 relay.
The final day of the Drake Relays will finish Saturday.
