Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University's Nolan Reimold has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Co-Player of the Week, along with Ball State's Mike Sullivan. Reimold hit home runs in three-straight games in a weekend sweep of Toledo while tying a school record with eight RBIs in a 16-2 win on May 13 vs. the Rockets.
His three-straight games with a home run marks the second time this season he has accomplished that feat. It marks the third time this season that Reimold has earned MAC West Player of the Week honors.
In four games last week, the junior outfielder finished with a .467 batting average (7-for-15) and a 1.267 slugging percentage. Reimold had a grand slam and a two-run blast on Friday, registering 19 total bases, eight runs scored and 11 RBIs in four games last week. He had four walks (one intentional) and just two strikeouts in a team-high 15 at-bats.
