McClung Finishes Seventh, Bunko 12th at NCAA Regionals

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Bowling Green State University track and field members Andrean Bunko and Kerri McClung competed at the 2005 NCAA Regionals with McClung finishing seventh in the shot put and Andrean Bunko posting a 12th place finish in the javelin.
With a throw of 51-01, McClung finished seventh in the shot put. Her mark was second-best of the Mid-American Conference competitors. McClung's seveth place finish was 16 spots better then last year's Regional performance when she finished 23rd with a mark of 46-00.75.
Bunko has a toss of 139-02, her second-best mark during the outdoor campaign, in the javelin for her 12th place finish. She, like McClung finished second amoung MAC competitors. Last season Bunko finished ninth at the Regionals with a toss of 137-09.
