Clive Roberts Named Assistant Track and Field Coach

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Head Coach Scott Sehmann and the Falcon track program announce the hiring of Clive Roberts to fill in the duties of assistant track and field coach in charge of the sprints, hurdles, and horizontal jumps.
"I'm excited to have Clive join the program," said head coach Scott Sehmann. "He has proven himself in developing winners at CMU the past two years and we look forward for him to bring forth that same attitude and potential to the Falcons."
Roberts comes to Bowling Green State University after serving as a graduate assistant for the track program at Central Michigan University. During his stint at CMU, he coached 13 MAC champions, two Indoor All- Americans, and one USA Track Championship qualifier.
Before his time as graduate assistant for the Chippewas, Roberts competed at CMU as a hurdler where he qualified for nationals during his final year and was MAC runner up in the 60m hurdles. He graduated with a degree in finance at CMU in 2003.
Roberts, a native of Toronto, Canada, was a Canadian Junior Champion in the 110m hurdles during his high school career.
Roberts currently resides in Bowling Green and has a daughter, Makaylah, 2.
