CSTV.com - Bowling Green State University sophomore Alex Foster is currently tied for sixth according to the cstv.com Hobey Baker Watch. Foster, who is currently on an eight-game point streak is first in the country with 29 assists and third overall with 36 points. He also ranks third in the country with 1.64 points per game.
This season the sophomore forward has recorded a point in every game but three including a five-game point streak (3-8-11) and his current eight-game point streak (2-10-12).
He recorded a career-high five points (1g, 4a) in a 7-3 win over UNO and had a four point (2g, 2a) performance just five games later versus Northern Michigan.
For November, the Canton, Michigan native was named CCHA Player of the Month after recording four goals and 14 assists in eight games. In that span he had five multiple point games and has 12 this season.
Foster was named CCHA Player of the Week back on Nov. 7 and was also named the MVP of the Toyota UConn Holiday Classic back on Dec. 30.
In just 56 career games the sophomore owns 67 points (15g, 52a).
