BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Calvin Cage scored 24 points, including Buffalo's final 7, to lead the Bulls to a 76-73 win over Bowling Green on Tuesday night.
Buffalo (14-4, 4-3 Mid-American) led 38-24 at the half, but the Falcons went on a 12-0 run to cut the lead to 53-51.
Buffalo then held Bowling Green (7-10, 3-4) scoreless for nearly five minutes to rebuild its lead to 61-51.
Martin Samarco, who finished with 30 points, and Mawel Soler both hit a pair of free throws in the final two minutes to trim Buffalo's lead to 70-67.
Soler then fouled Cage, who gave the Bulls a 5-point lead.
Bowling Green outscored Buffalo 49-38 in the second half.
Yassin Idbihi scored 15 points for Buffalo. Roderick Middleton had 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Andy Robinson added 10 points.
Soler scored 19 points for Bowling Green and John Floyd had 10 off the bench.
