BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - After what some might see as disappointing third place finishes their last two meets, the women's track team looking to continue to make some major improvements at this weekend's Findlay Track & Field Classic.
Head coach Scott Sehmann has been happy with his team's results thus far, but expects much more from them as the weeks go by.
"I think that as a team, they are much more cohesive then they were the first week," said Sehmann. "They made some major improvements between week one and two and we are looking to carry them over this week."
As this is a non traditional-meet, which means the meet will not be scored, giving the athletes a little less stress.
"This week, the meet won't be scored, which gives are athletes a little more flexibility because they know ahead of time that they don't have to worry about an overall team score, but rather to give their best performance," said Sehmann.
In giving it their all, the team has the opportunity to rise in the ranks in the MAC.
