BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Athlon Sports has released its preseason women's basketball poll for the 2006-07 season, and the Bowling Green State University women's basketball team is ranked 20th in the nation. The Falcons return nine letterwinners, including all five starters, from a 28-3 team that set school and Mid-American Conference records for victories. BGSU was a perfect 16-0 in MAC regular-season play, then won three MAC Tournament games to capture that crown and advance to the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive season.
