BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Chris Bullock scored on a 15-yard run early in the fourth quarter and Bowling Green's defense stood tall down the stretch in a 24-21 victory over Eastern Michigan on Saturday.
The Falcons (4-3, 3-1 Mid-American Conference) led 17-7 late in the first half before Eastern (0-6, 0-3) scored on a 23-yard pass from Tyler Jones to Eric Deslauriers, who had earlier caught a 79-yard touchdown pass from Jones. The Eagles then took the lead early in the third quarter on an 11-yard run by Pierre Walker.
Bullock, who rushed for 99 yards on 16 carries, capped a 12-play, 78-yard drive.
Eastern had the ball three times after that touchdown but never seriously threatened. On the first two possessions, the Eagles lost a total of nine yards on six plays before punting each time.
They got the ball for the final time with 3:04 left at their own 6. Jones' 5-yard pass to Dontayo Gage gave them a first down at their own 32. Jones then threw two incompletions before Terrel White picked up his second interception at the Eastern 42.
Anthony Turner completed 14-of-24 passes for 165 yards with no interceptions for the Falcons, including a 33-yard touchdown pass to Corey Partridge. Freddie Barnes added a 4-yard scoring run.
Jones hit on 24-of-38 passes for 260 yards with three interceptions.
