Falcons Meet Attendance Requirement

Bowling Green, Ohio - Thanks to the generous support of Falcon fans across the country and the relentless effort of our student body, the BGSU athletic department had sold 22,774 tickets as of this afternoon for tonight's game with Miami. That figure ensures that BGSU will exceed the NCAA requirement of averaging 15,000 fans per game for its five recognized home dates this season.

"We appreciate the response we received from Falcons everywhere" said BGSU Assistant V.P./Director of Athletics Greg Christopher. "Everyone recognized how important this issue was and we are grateful for their generosity."

The final audited paid attendance, which will add student attendance from tonight's game, will take a day or two to confirm and final figures will be submitted to the NCAA in February.
