"This is a huge honor for a very deserving Chrissy Gothke," said Head Coach Denise Van De Walle. "It's extremely difficult to get MAC players on this team. When you think that there are only 18 players recognized in this region and you're in the same region with the conference that has the#1 RPI in the nation (Big 10),it puts it into perspective that this is a big deal. I am really proud of what Chrissy has done this year and during her career. I'm so glad that the committee has recognized her, too."
