Falcons Finish Sixth At Rocket Spring Classic

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team finished sixth at the Rocket Spring Classic with a 54-hole score of 980 (328-329-323). Fellow MAC opponents Eastern Michigan (900), Toledo (921) and Ohio (946) finished fist, second and third.

The top Falcon was sophomore Carley Hrusovsky, who finished tied for 10th with a score of 236 (76-78-82). Her 76 matched her career-best.

Also competing for the Brown and Orange were Jessica McCann (who was just recently named MAC Golfer of the Week), who shot a 242 (79-87-76, 22nd), Amanda Schroeder (253, T-34th), Kari Liggett (255, 39th) and Amanda Bader (259, 43rd).

Up next for the Falcons is the 2006 MAC Championships in Indian Springs, Ohio, set to begin April 28-30.
