Falcons Fifth After Day One Of MAC Championships

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University women's track and field team is fifth after day one of the 2006 Mid-American Conference Championships. Whitney Hartman (hammer throw), Alyson Lee (Javelin) and Andrean Bunko (javelin) recorded all 11 points for the Falcons.
Hartman posted a toss of 54.06 meters in the hammer throw for a third-place finish.
Lastly, junior Andrean Bunko finished fifth in the javelin throw with a distance of 41.13 meters. Senior Alyson Lee finished eighth with a distance of 35.96 meters.
