BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green wraps up the 2006 season with a three-game weekend series in Athens, Ohio, taking on the Ohio Bobcats. With a sweep, the Falcons can seal their third consecutive season with a winning record in conference play.
Both squads currently sit at 11-13 in the MAC, and are battling for third place in the East division. Unfortunately, no matter the outcome of the series, neither team can reach the post-season due to the percentage point tie breaker used to determine conference tournament invites.

Stewart Ending Season On a Tear
Junior Josh Stewart has bursted out of a mid-season hitting slump in a big way over the last five games. During his current five-game hitting streak, Stewart is batting .609 with a homerun, 12 RBI and a whopping 1.043 slugging percentage (seven extra base hits).
The Dayton, Ohio native recorded at least two hits and drove in a run in all five contests. Stewart's best game came against Wright State, beginning the game with a two-run homerun followed by a two-RBI triple into right-center field.
