BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University volleyball team will head to Dekalb, Illinois on Saturday to take on the NIU Huskies. Falcon fans can follow along the action by watching GameTracker, available right here at bgsufalcons.com
A Look at the Huskies
Northern Illinois (10-5, 3-0) joins the Falcons and Ohio University as the last three unbeatens in conference play. NIU has picked up wins over Eastern, Central and Western Michigan to begin the MAC schedule.
Head Coach Ray Gooden's squad is led by All-MAC performer Kate McCullagh. McCullagh averages 5.75 kills and nearly a bloock per game for the Huskies. She compiled 19 kills in a 3-1 win over the Falcons last season.

Falcons Making National Noise
BGSU continued their dominance through last week. Falcon setter Chrissy Gothke entered the national rankings for the first time. Her 12.79 assists per game (614 total) place her 27th in the nation. As a team, Bowling Green is ranked 9th in assists per game (15.56 a/g, 747 assists), 16th in digs per game (18.58 d/g, 892 digs), 17th in hitting percentage (.284 on 1,926 attacks), 10th in kills per game (16.85 k/g, 809 kills), and tied for 20th in winning percentage (.857, 12-2 overall).
Good Start to MAC Season
After a 10-2 start in the non-conference schedule, BGSU posted a 3-0 record to begin Mid-American Conference play with wins over Toledo (30-23, 30-25, 30-25), Ball State (30-22, 30-18, 30-19) and Miami (30-15, 25-30, 30-12, 30-26).
Hottest Team in the MAC
Bowling Green has ripped off nine consecutive wins. During the stretch, the Falcons are hitting a blistering .314 while suffocating the opposing attack by holding them to a .132 hitting pace.
