BGSU Finishes 12th at the Shootout

Bowling Green battled its way to an 12th place finish at the Shootout at the Legends in Franklin, Ind. on Tuesday.
On the final day two Falcons finished with a sub-80 round at the Legends. Senior Carley Hrusovsky led the pack when she carded an 80. In her first two rounds Hrusovsky tallied a 157 when she shot a 79 and a 78 respectively on Monday. Hrusovsky's final day efforts left her in sole possession of 36th (237).
Freshman DeO'nna Anderson was one of two BGSU golfers to finish sub-80 on the final day. Her final round score of 78 complemented her second round 79, and left her only three shots behind teammate Hrusovsky. Anderson finished the day T-42 (240).
Trailing Anderson was fellow freshman Lauren Glew. After shooting an 86 on the opening round of play, Glew whittled away at her first round score by carding an 81 in the second round and finishing on Tuesday with a 79 which left her T-48 (246).
Jessica McCann, a senior from Mason, Ohio finished a lone shot behind Lauren Glew on Tuesday. McCann fired an 82 in the opening round and continued her steady play by firing an 84 and 81 in the final two rounds. Her play would net her 60th at the Legends (247).
Freshman Marisa Glew made her collegiate debut at the Legends this week. Marisa Glew improved on her first round score of 87 to finish the tournament with an aggregate score of 257 (87-86-84)
Behind Marisa Glew was sophomore Hannah Lambert. On the first day Lambert shot a pair of 84's but in the final day she saw a little difficulty carding a final day score of 94 (262).
The Falcons will finish out their fall schedule when they travel to Daytona Beach, Fla. for the LPGA International hosted by Xavier University on Saturday, Oct. 13.
