Falcons To Face Nebraska-Omaha In First Round of CCHA Playoffs

FARMINGTON, HILLS, Michigan - The Bowling Green State University hockey will be traveling to Nebraska-Omaha for the opening round of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association playoffs. The Falcons, who are the No. 12 seed in the playoffs, will be facing the Mavericks, who won Saturday night in Alaska to leapfrog Western Michigan to get the No. 5 seed.
This is the same matchup from a year ago, when the Orange and Brown traveled to Omaha, Neb., in the No. 5 vs. No. 12 matchup. The Mavericks captured back-to-back 4-2 wins to advance to the second round.
