Falcons Ranked 18th in Associated Press Poll

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (BGSUFalcons.com) - The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team is ranked 18th in the nation in the latest Associated Press poll. The poll was released Monday afternoon (Feb. 5).
The Falcons dropped a spot in the poll for the second consecutive week, having been ranked a school- and Mid-American Conference-record 16th in the nation in the Jan. 22 poll before being listed 17th in last week's (Jan. 29) poll.
BGSU, coming off a 73-62 come-from-behind win over arch-rival Toledo on Sunday afternoon (Feb. 4), is now 20-2 overall, and the Falcons are a perfect 9-0 in MAC play. The Brown and Orange will take on MAC West Division-leading Ball State on Wednesday night (Feb. 7) at venerable Anderson Arena. The Cardinals received a vote in Monday's AP poll. The BGSU-BSU game will begin at 7:00 p.m.
