This was the ninth win in the last 10 meetings with Miami in Anderson Arena.
With the win, Dan Dakich ties Paul Landis for the third most career wins at BGSU with 156. Harold Anderson (1942-63) had 367 and Jim Larranaga (1986-97) had 170.

Junior Ryne Hamblet had a career-high 28 points. He tied his career-best with six three-point field goals in nine attempts. He also had a career-high six free throws made and attempted. In the last three games, he is averaging 23.3 points and made 16 of 24 three-point field goals.
Sophomore Nate Miller added 11 points, five boards and two steals.
Sophomore Brian Moten made his fifth start of the season and played a career-high 33 minutes. He finished with seven points.
Freshman Otis Polk had three blocked shots for the fifth time this season. He also added four rebounds.
